VENDTEK ANNOUNCES ANOTHER MILESTONE ACHIEVEMENT FOR POS LICENSES

November 18, 2003 - VendTek Systems Inc. (TSX-V: VSI) ("VendTek" or "The Company"), a leading provider of software for prepaid service distribution, is pleased to announce that it's wholly owned subsidiary, Now Prepay has reached another milestone. Now Prepay has now deployed 2000 e-Fresh licensed POS terminals in Canada.

Now Prepay began deploying terminals less than one year ago. VendTek and Now Prepay have been working diligently to market the solution and this milestone is the effect of e-Fresh being adopted by the marketplace. The licenses result in recurring transaction revenue for VendTek each time the e-Fresh application is used on the POS terminal. The sales are comprised of new customers (mentioned in earlier news releases) and current customers who are expanding the licensed POS terminal software in more locations.

"Our priority is to be a leading provider of software for the electronic delivery of prepaid services in North America and simultaneously maximize our partnership in China via the growth of e-Fresh to distribute the enormous amount of prepaid services in that country. We have come a long way in one year and these milestones show our shareholders that our endeavor into the software business is delivering results," said Paul Brock, President of VendTek Systems Inc. "We expect the rate of growth of Now Prepay terminals in Canada to increase and continue indefinitely. Our goal is to have the largest electronic distribution network in Canada by the end of the second quarter of 2004."

Now Prepay is joining forces with POS terminal distributors and transaction processing organizations to integrate VendTek's e-Fresh software with debit card and credit card processing software. The combined applications provide a value added solution to the channels presently served by physical cards for prepaid telecom services. Given the anticipated future discontinuation of physical cards by Canadian Cellco's, VendTek, through Now Prepay, is poised to capture a significant share of the electronic distribution of prepaid services market in Canada.

About VendTek and Now Prepay
(www.vendteksys.com / www.nowprepay.com)

VendTek Systems Inc. develops, markets, and sells e-Fresh, which is a suite of software applications use to electronically distribute prepaid telecommunication products and financial services. Commercialization of
e-Fresh under license is VendTek's strategy to create sustainable and recurring revenues.

VendTek's customers and its subsidiaries, Now Prepay Corp. and VendTek Systems Technologies (Beijing), are using e-Fresh software to build electronic, prepaid services networks which enable consumers to purchase prepaid services via POS and self-serve terminals connected to a central server. This system creates significant value through improved efficiencies compared to the traditional distribution paradigm. e-Fresh reduces shrinkage and inventory requirements while improving consumer access to prepaid services since it is completely electronic and eliminates physical cards and vouchers.
